Chiesa dell'oratorio di San G. del B. (It)
April 8, 2011
Another one of those amazing, abandoned locations Italy has to offer. We only had half an hour to shoot here, before sunset. A great location, which I would have loved to spend some more time in. I have some doubts about the post-processing of these pics. Maybe I'll edit them again soon.

Chateau H (B)
June 11, 2011
Another abandoned castle in Belgium. This location I had in my database for quite some time. But I never really was in the neighborhood to check it out. Until June 11, when Werner and I drove by to see what it was. And we were surprised about what we saw. We could enter very easily at the back and it was a huge, beautiful place. With amazing stairs btw. Unfortunately we got kicked out when we had only seen the top floor and the staircase. A friendly, local guy who said he was the trustee had seen us and showed us the way out. Too bad, cause the ground floor also had some great spots, which we have not photographed (yet).

Rocchetta Mattei (It)
April 10, 2011
This is one (of thirteen) location(s) of my trip in Italy, last april. Rocchetta Mattei is a huge castle in a small Italian village, which is currently being renovated. Entering the place was possible because of the scaffolding, which it was covered in. Climbing up and through things, entering the castle.... We had to watch out for the huge amount of motion detectors of the alarm system! Fortunately we succeeded and no alarm went off.

Okay… it has been a little too quiet at this blog. I am sorry ;-)
I will try to update some more frequently, cause there is enough to show you!
This is a very small update - a set of only two photos - but they are nice enough to share them.
Soon there will follow lots of new sets / locations.

This beautiful abandoned theatre was part of a huge Italian farm/villa. It was actualy our first visit of our Italy trip, after we drove whole night. We arrived - a bit tired - at 07.30 am. The sun just came up, birds whistling, sky a bit foggy. Just another perfect day for urbex!

Fairytale Castle (It)

This is probably the most beautiful and weird building I have ever walked in. There are tiles, ornaments and mosaic all over the place. And it is abandoned. The entrance was nice… crawling through a very tiny window, avoiding the alarm sensors inside. Although there is almost no decay - which I ilke so much - I took about 200 shots, and still hadn't shot everything I wanted. Enjoy a little selection here…

Werner, Paul, Luc and I had a superb 4-days trip to Italy, to shoot some of the most amazing abandoned places Italy has to offer. I am still editing most of the photos, but here are some of the second location we visited at day one. It is some sort of chateau and a small church within it. Lovely decayed, just the way I like it!

It has been a while since my last update, sorry for that. I've been busy with lots of things, like my job and stuff… but also with my trip to Italy I made recently. Which was totally awesome btw. But first I'll show you some more of my (day)trips to Luxembourg.
This is Maison Kirsch. A beautiful house, or farm, or villa, whatever you like to call it. No grafity, not trashed, easy entrance and still lots of stuff inside. Enjoy these pics.
